Miranda Kerr was born on the 20th of April 1985, and raised in the small Australian rural town of Gunnedah.
She began modelling after winning the Dolly/Impulse Covergirl Competition in 1997, and commenced modelling full time when she completed her schooling in 2003.
A rising star in the world of international modelling Miranda was the first Australian to feature in the Victoria’s Secret runway show. She has continually been involved in high profile runway shows and fashion shoots, as well as extensive TV and magazine advertising campaigns.
She has modelled for Portmans, Victoria’s Secret, Madeline New York, Levis, Lisa Ho and Abercrombie & Fitch, as well as hitting the catwalk for designers such as Alex Perry, Anna Mollinari, BabyPhat, Enrico Coveri, Nicola Finetti and many more.
Gorgeous, demure, striking and intelligent, Miranda’s success and indeed her popularity has only been enhanced by her laid back nature and cheeky smile.
Miranda recently signed on as the face and personality of Portmans, and though she currently lives in New York with her terrier Frankie, she travels back to Australia frequently for work and to visit friends and family.
